YA Reader Appreciation Blog Hop--First Look Friday
Welcome Sasha Hibbs to the blog today to give us a sneak peak at her current projects.
Currently I’m working
on Black Apocalypse, book 4 in the Vulcan Legacies series. My “Black” series
centers on Ally Watson, a girl who finds out in a tragic series of events that
she is the key to either unlocking or preventing the Apocalypse. Ally finds
herself thrust in situations where she must choose between destiny and what her
heart tells her. This is no easy task when things are not always what they seem
and along the way friendships are put to the test, ties broken and lives on the
line.
The first book, Black Amaranth, introduces us to a cast of colorful characters.
Some of which Ally has known her entire life and some that she meets that makes
her question everything she thought she knew. In book 2, Black Abaddon, Ally
must face the consequences of the choices she made in the first and the effects
they have on all those she loves. Just when you think all hope is lost, love
and forgiveness comes from the most unexpected places.

Atonement gives the reader the opportunity to explore the life of Brandi
Frasier, the Seraph of Love. Her story has a tragic beginning, but through
sacrifice and atonement, Brandi learns what it means to be loved and to love in
return. Brandi is by far, one of my favorite characters. Her story speaks to me
in the aspect that sometimes you have to be the heavy, you have to carry the
weight and pretend it’s not splitting you down the middle.
